Everything you need to know before you shop—from appointments and walk-ins to dress registration.
Do I need an Appointment?
Appointments are highly recommended
Appointments are recommended during our busiest seasons so you can enjoy a dedicated stylist and fitting room. While we try to accommodate walk ins whenever possible, appointments are our number one priority. Booking ahead is the best way to ensure the best shopping experience.

WHEN SHOULD
I SHOP?
HOMECOMING DRESSES:
The best time to shop homecoming dresses is Early July through September! While we get new styles weekly, your selection gets more limited as dances get closer!
PROM DRESSES:
The best time to shop prom starts in December! We get new styles in weekly and have hundreds of dresses to choose from! Our floor goes fast though, so shopping early is the best option!
CAN I BRING GUESTS?
Bring who makes you feel the most supported!
While we have limited seating upstairs on our Prom and Homecoming floor, you’re welcome to bring 1–3 guests to share in your shopping experience. Keeping your group small helps create a relaxed, enjoyable appointment and allows everyone to comfortably view dresses and offer thoughtful feedback.
Please note: To maintain the quality of our gowns and safety of staff and customers, unaccompanied minors may try on up to three dresses per appointment!
HOW LONG DOES IT TAKE TO FIND MY DREAM DRESS?
60 Minute Appointment Slots:
during your $15.00, 60 minute appointment, an expert stylist will help you to narrow down multiple styles, colors and silhouettes you love! That way you can say yes to your Pierre’s perfect dress with ease!
What Sizes do you Carry?
Size 00-34 In Store
Our showroom features dresses in a variety of stock sizes for you to try on. If we don’t have your exact size in stock, many dresses can be ordered in the size that fits you best, depending on designer availability. We recommend shopping early to ensure the best stock availability.
Can I take home my dress the same day?
Yes!
ALL of our dresses are available to purchase off the rack, so if your favorite dress is in stock and you’re ready to say “yes,” you can take it home the same day.
Looking for a different size or color? Many styles can also be special ordered (for a small fee) in a variety of sizes and colors, depending on designer availability and your event date. Our stylists will help you explore all of your options to find the perfect dress.
can i return or cancel my dress?
All Sales are Final!
Due to the special nature of formalwear, all sales are final. We do not offer refunds, returns or exchanges on dresses, accessories, or special orders. Please ask any questions before completing your purchase—we’re happy to help you feel confident in your decision. In addition, once a special order is placed, we cannot cancel it.
All About Dress Registration:
We Register Our Dresses by Color at Pierre’s!
We will not sell the same color and style to another shopper from your school. Theoretically, we could sell the same style in a different color. However, please remember dresses can look completely different based on color, sizing and styling!
Please Note: Our registry is not affiliated with any other store that carries the same designer.
