Frequently Asked Questions

Planning Your Visit

Do I need to make an appointment?

Bridal appointments are required, as we do have limited availability and need to know when safety capacity has been met. We want to ensure you have the best one on one service provided by your private Bridal Consultant during the entirety of your appointment. Also, when scheduling an appointment, we do require a $25.00 booking fee at the time of booking your appointment. This fee will be applied to your wedding gown purchase the day of your appointment along with other first-day discounts. We are also able to pre-register your information and send reminder notifications upon booking your appointment. Bridal appointments are an hour and a half long to ensure our staff is able to properly sanitize the Bridal Areas between appointments. For a more intimate experience, we strongly recommend a week-day appointment.

What should I bring to my appointment?

Underwear is required and white or nude is recommended for lighter gowns. Your consultant will benefit from any inspiration images you may have. Above all, we suggest bringing a positive attitude and the expectation of falling in love with something! Being prepared to make a purchase on your initial appointment with us makes the process much more enjoyable for you and you will benefit with amazing savings with our first-visit promotions!

Whom should I bring with me?

Through our experience, we have found it best for everyone involved to keep your group intimate. Seating capacity is at three to four additional guests; especially with our current pandemic our number one goal is keeping everyone safe and happy. Beyond that, the extra opinions make the process very confusing for the bride and space becomes limited.

We would like to celebrate with a toast. Is this allowed?

We ask that food and drink are not brought into the store, to preserve the delicate surroundings and maintain a safe environment.

Your time with us

Average price point on most gowns, however, is between $800-$1,300. Mothers’ gowns range between $200-$589, with an average being approximately $350. Bridesmaids range from $139-$265. Mothers & Bridesmaids of Pierre’s Brides always receive exclusive discounts and savings.

Am I allowed to take pictures?

Unfortunately, we do not allow photos of our gowns until you’ve said, “Yes!” However, if there is anyone who is unable to share in the shopping experience in person, they may join via Internet to video chat with our complimentary guest Wifi!

Purchasing and Sizing

What forms of payment do you accept?

All major credit cards, excluding AmericanExpress, cash and check are accepted on initial deposits. However, on final payment, or when goods are leaving the store, a personal check can not be accepted. Pierre’s does offer flexible payment plans, if need be. A 50% down payment is required for all special orders. Any form of deposit is a binding contract in agreement to pay the entire due balance as all Sales in the Bridal Industry are Final.

Do I need to Tip my consultant?

Tips are never required but greatly appreciated. We provide an option to tip through our credit card machine at checkout of 1%, 5%, 10% or a customized option of your choice. Cash is welcome, too!

What if I have bridesmaids who can’t come into the store?

Not a problem! We service bridesmaids all over the world. We recommend having your out of State or Country Bridesmaid get measured from a Pierre’s recommended store to ensure closest fits and calling in their measurements. Payments can be made Via Email or over the phone.

How does bridal, bridesmaids and special occasion sizing run?

Our designers’ charts start at a size 0 and continue to size 28 or 34W for wedding gowns, sizes 00 to 34W for Bridesmaids, sizes 4 to 28 for Mother’s and sizes 00 – 28W for Prom or special occasion. Bridal gowns are cut differently than normal clothing. Most brides find they are approximately 1-2 sizes larger in bridal gowns than in typical clothing. Please understand that some bridesmaids’ manufacturers may mandate a size charge for gowns sized over 16 and the cost is not included in the price of the sample garment.

What sizes do you have in stock?

We stock from size 2-32W in bridal gowns, 2-34W in Bridesmaids, 4-28 in Mothers’ and 00-30W in Prom.

What’s Next?

After my order is placed, how long will my gown take to arrive?

Your special order is typically place immediately following your visit with us. On average, a wedding gown will take approximately three to eight months to arrive. A mothers gown takes approximately two to six months.A bridesmaid’s gown takes approximately three to four and a half months. In all cases, please allow alteration time, which is generally two to three months. Rush shipping is occasionally available, but is case by case and at an additional charge. For new brides wondering when is best to make their decision, we recommend nine months to a year. Also, it is important to realize retailers have no foresight or control over production and delivery, so it is best to choose your gown early! To check the estimated ship dates your designer has provided us on your gown, please use your Web-Key located on the top of your receipt to input onto the My Info tab on our website.

My special order is in, now what?

Pierre’s Bridal will text AND email you when your items have been received and are ready for pick-up so please ensure your information on your receipt is correct. To best serve you and make your final experience with us special, we recommend a week-day appointment for pick up on gowns. We like to have you try on your gown, with the assistance of a consultant because you will likely have further questions or shopping to do and we need to have someone ready to serve you!

Do you accept returns, exchanges, or transfers of deposits?

It is industry standard that all sales are final. This includes both out-of-inventory purchases as well as special orders. Once the manufacturer receives a special order, immediately following your visit with us, the pattern begins to be cut and putting a stop to the order is not possible. Any form of deposit is a binding contract in agreement to pay the entire due balance as stated on the bottom of your signed receipt.
