We’re Calling it Now: These are the Spring 2025 Bridal Trends

If you follow the Pierre’s Team on Instagram, you may have seen that we just viewed the runways for the Spring 2025 Bridal Collections in Atlanta last week. In the midst of 12-hour days and thousands of dresses, we noticed several up and coming trends when it comes to bridal. From high end to affordable brands, we can expect to see certain styles to boom as they hit the stores this winter. Keep reading to see if your favorite trends are expected to be among the most popular styles this spring.

1. Basque waists

We’ve already seen a wave of brides come in wanting this waistline. For those who have never heard the term, a basque waist is a waistline that points down and comes to a point in the center of the body. Any gown can have a basque waist, from ballgowns to fit-and-flares. This detail does an amazing job of shaping the body, while giving the wedding gown a romantic flare. This style is especially amazing for those who want to accentuate their curves, or for those who want to lengthen their torso.

2. simple elegance

In addition to basque waists, we’ve seen quite the influx in brides wanting a more minimalist look, and this trend isn’t slowing down any time soon. There’s a reason brides think of satin when they think of the word “timeless.” Because this fabric has been around for decades, and continues to look stunning as the styles evolve. For the brides that love the minimalist look, but are worried it is a little too plain, don’t worry! There are plenty of design details that add a little extra interest. From ruching, to cutouts, cowl necks, to hints of lace. There are plenty of options for the brides that love a clean elegance, but still want to look unique.

3. PRINCESS TREATMENT

For the brides who know the minimalist look is too plain for them, a ballgown may be more of your style. Extravagance, glam, and dramatic details. Princess ballgowns are the perfect style for the bride who wants to wear something unlike anything else she’s ever worn. Our Reagan and Rosemarie gowns feature fitted bodices with off the shoulder sleeves, which transition into full ballgown skirts. If these gown have too much volume for you, we can easily remove some of the layers of crinoline to reduce the size of the skirt, without losing the details of the dress.

4. 3d florals

Why settle for flat lace when you could have 3d flowers on your wedding dress? 3d flowers add a little extra sparkle to your gown, making your wedding dress even more special and unique. From fit and flares to ballgowns, 3d appliques make any dress more glamorous. We’ve noticed more and more brides straying away from the traditional flat laces, and opting for more intricate details, like pearl embellishments and floral appliques.

5. Color

Gone are the days of basic white dresses. Color is becoming more and more popular among our brides. Subtle pastels, like those on the Petal gown, are a great choice for a bride who wants a little color, but still wants to feel like a bride. For the brides who want a little more drama, we’d recommend our Persephone gown. Burgundy, gold, and sky blue appliques cascade throughout this mermaid style. Pair it with the matching, cathedral length veil for extra drama.
